In addition to the services provided by Mansfield District Council, there are a number of external and partner agencies provinding a holistic range of business support.
East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA)
Established in 1999, the East Midlands Development Agency works to increase the economic prosperity of the region. EMDA's goal is to make the East Midlands a flourishing region by 2020 and the agency has a wide range of help, advice and funding / grants available to ensure your business has everything it needs to start-up and grow in the East Midlands. The agency also focuses on inward investment from overseas and have assisted in attracting many multi-national companies to the district.

Alliance North Midlands
Funded by the East Midlands Development Agency, the Alliance North Midlands works to attract, support and grow businesses within the north midlands (and the Mansfield District). The Alliance provides useful information for businesses looking to expand and grow in the area as well as success stories, growth sectors, and information about key development sites across the region.

Mansfield 2020
Mansfield 2020 is a business organisation set up by local business people with the aim of promoting and revitalising Mansfield and driving regeneration forward. The group's work is diverse and include a monthly breakfast club for local businesses, this networking event is highly successful and attracts high level speakers.
Business Link
Business Link provide practical help for businesses on a wide range of topics, from starting up and growing a business, to selling your business and important information while you are trading. Topics of advice include:

Part of the NE group, MANSKEP is an enterprise agency which offers a full support service to start-up and newly established businesses, including free / subsidised courses for businesses and staff training and development.
