The total cost of the project will be around £96 million and will create a totally new college building that will replace the current college on Derby Road.

The existing site will be sold for housing to help pay for the development with the new site being over the road next to the Mansfield Ashfield Regeneration Route.

As well as the new college building that will provide work based courses for over 8000 students a year the development will also encompass a new Technology Park.

This Technology Park will provide a range of units for businesses that are looking to take advantage of being associated with one of the top colleges in the country.
